The West Valley Detention Center (WVDC) is located in Rancho Cucamonga. The WVDC is the largest prison facility in the San Bernardino County and primarily used to house pre-sentenced inmates. There are other prisons managed by the San Bernardino County.

Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center – This is the primary detention facility for male and female inmates that are sentenced to County commitments. This jail has minimum and maximum security facilities.

Central Detention Center – This is the primary booking facility servicing the east valley area. This Facility also serves as a transportation and housing hub of federal inmates

High Desert Detention Center – This is the newest detention in San Bernardino County.
